He will take on Venezuela’s ‘Assassin’, Wilmer Vasquez, at the Kalverdijkje Multi-Purpose Sports Arena. The Ugandan is by all means one of the most awaited act in Dutch boxing currently.
The 12-round World Boxing Federation (WBF) heavyweight title fight is scheduled for Sunday in the Dutch city of Cambuur, Leeuwarden.

Out of this fight, Kyakonye anticipates an opportunity to solidify his place among the current world’s top heavyweights.
The Ugandan is highly billed, since he has gone undefeated since his pro debut in 2017.
He told Habari Daily that he has been in camp for the past three months. “I’m more than ready for this fight. For the last three weeks, my focus has been on improving power and speed. My fans should know ‘that am ready to rumble,” he said.
Kyakonye is being trained by the legendary boxing coach Vicent Stikkolorum at the Kyokku Gym in Leeuwarden.
