Kabaka Muwenda Mutebi was seen off at Entebbe International Airport by the Katikiro, Charles Peter Mayiga
The Kabaka of Buganda, His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II’s health has never been better, said officials.
Issued after the monarch’s medical visit abroad, the Kingdom said it’s part of the Kabaka’s ongoing medical treatment and routine consultations with his international medical team.
On his arrival from abroad, the Kabaka was welcomed at Entebbe International Airport by the First Deputy Katikkiro, Owek. Prof. Twaha Kaawaase Kigongo, alongside other senior Buganda Kingdom officials.
Just a few weeks ago, Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga confirmed that the Kabaka had travelled to consult with his personal doctors abroad, reaffirming that the monarch remained in stable condition.
He traveled while stable and continues to receive the best care,” the Katikkiro said.
During his 66th birthday celebrations at Lubiri, Kabaka Mutebi appeared visibly frail and unwell, sparking concern across the Kingdom.
