HABARI DAILY I Kampala, Uganda I Former Kawempe North MP aspirant, Alex Luwemba Luswa, who also served as the personal assistant to the late Hon Muhammad Ssegirinya, disclosed that DNA tests conducted on the alleged nine children of the deceased MP confirmed that only four are his biological offspring.
This revelation has left the public stunned, as it turned out that the former Kawempe North MP did not father these children.
In a media interview, Luwemba stated that the only biological children of Muhammad Ssegirinya are Nagirinya Aaliyah, Sharifah Nagirinya, Shifrah Nagirinya, and their sole son, Ivan.
He expressed relief that the test results were disclosed and noted that these women had been contesting for Ssegirinya’s assets soon after his tragic passing.
“The results are finally out. They had always made claims. Those women began to fight for the late MP’s property even before he was laid to rest, which seemed suspicious,” he noted.
He said that Medard Lubega Ssegona, the family lawyer, is ensuring that the children confirmed as Ssegirinya’s receive letters of administration to oversee the deceased’s estate, given that he did not leave a will.
Many were astonished when a woman identified only as Nalongo Joy from Matugga presented a nine-month-old baby asserting that the late MP was the father.
Many questioned how Ssegirinya could have fathered a child when he had been bedridden for almost the last two years of his life.
