HABARI DAILY I Kampala, Uganda I To ensure that one of the biggest evangelism crusades in Uganda this year progresses without a glitch, Equity Bank Uganda has extended a generous hand to the Miracle Centre Ministries, to a tune of Shs 50 million.
Pastor Benny Hinn, the world renowned American tele evangelist will hold a 3-day activity-parked crusade at Miracle Center Cathedral in Lubaga starting Friday, June 27th to Sunday June 29th.
He will be hosted by Pastor Robert Kayanja, of Miracle Center Ministries.
While handing over the cheque this afternoon, Catherine Psomgen, Equity Bank’s Director Public Sector and Social Investments, said the donation is in line with the collaboration they have had with Pastor Robert Kayanja of Miracle Centre Ministries.
“This aligns with our purpose of transforming lives and giving dignity in vulnerable communities,” she said, adding that the finances will go towards supporting the upcoming 3-day crusade.

She added that the move also aligns with their Africa Recovery and Resilience Plan goal of increasing support for agriculture, of which 30℅ of our their total lending will go towards the sector.
Equity Bank has partnered with Pastor Robert Kayanja Ministries on key development work, including transformational agriculture in Karamoja which kicked off in 2023.
On his part, Pastor Kayanja hailed Equity Bank for their people-centered activities which have impacted on many people’s lives.
He welcomed the donation towards evangelism, saying that being that Benny Hinn is one of the biggest preacher we have in the world today, many people will be touched by his visit.
Impactful Crusade
Pastor Benny Hinn will hold 2 days of impactful evangelism at Miracle Center Cathedral, where he will pray for the sick and offer a massage of revival to Ugandans.
Pastor Kayanja said that leaders from all over Uganda are also expected to gather for an empowerment conference on the third day of Benny Hinn visit to Uganda.
“To be held on Sunday, 29th June, this will be a session in which leaders will be armed with tactics to not only survive but prosper,” he said in an earlier interview.
Set to draw evangelists, preachers, political, cultural and religious leaders, participants will experience a time of self-discovery.
Who is Benny Hinn?
Born Toufik Benedictus on 3 December 1952, now known as Benny Hinn, he is an Israeli-born Palestinian-American-Canadian televangelist. He is best known for his regular Miracle Crusades—revival meeting or faith healing summits that are usually held in stadiums in major cities. These are later broadcast worldwide on his television program, This Is Your Day.
