HABARI DAILY I Kampala, Uganda I Congratulatory messages are still pouring in after the announcement that Busoga Kingdom has been blessed with a double blessing at the birth of the two identical twin sons.
Celebrating the remarkable moment, Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV, together with his wife, the Inhebantu Jovia Mutesi, joyfully welcomed their twin sons. Born on August 27, 2025, the boys have been named Prince William Ethan Nadiope and Prince Arnold Eli Nadiope.
Announcing the news, the Kyabazinga expressed his overwhelming gratitude, saying the arrival of the twins represents a deeply cherished milestone for their family. He added that both the newborns and their mother are in excellent health, bringing immense happiness to the royal household.
“Our hearts are full of gratitude to Almighty God for blessing our family with these two precious gifts,” the Kyabazinga shared. He also extended his sincere appreciation to the people of Busoga and well-wishers for their outpouring of love, prayers, and warm messages.
Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV ascended the throne in September 2014, following the passing of his father, Wilson Gabula Nadiope III. In 2023, he married Jovia Mutesi in a historic royal wedding at Christ’s Cathedral in Bugembe—the first of its kind in the kingdom in nearly seven decades. The couple has remained a prominent and admired figure in Busoga, even amid occasional rumors about their private life, which have never been officially confirmed.
“The outpouring of Love, good will and prayers from all our friends and well wishers has been profoundly uplifting and we remain sincerely appreciative of your continued support,” said Isabantu as he wrapped up his message with “Busoga Ekwisania Namanhi.”
The Kyabazinga recently celebrated another personal milestone by graduating from Yale University with a Master’s degree in Advanced Studies in Global Affairs, a moment that highlighted his dedication to education and leadership. The royal couple appeared together during the graduation celebrations, showcasing their unity and commitment to family and kingdom duties.
The birth of Prince William Ethan and Prince Arnold Eli has been celebrated widely across Busoga, as subjects, family, and well-wishers share in the joy of this double blessing, marking the kingdom’s expansion from a family of two to four.
