Kusasira and Nakanguubi in a chat
HABARI DAILY I Kampala, Uganda I NRM’s star-studded rally on October 2, 2025, took an unexpected twist when singers Catherine Kusasira and Jenifer “Full Figure” Nakanguubi openly clashed on stage.
Both women, known for their loyalty to President Museveni and their high-profile roles as presidential advisers, had been booked to entertain and rally support ahead of the 2026 general elections.
But midway through the event, the atmosphere shifted from celebratory to confrontational. Aspirations of greed were at play, and this sold them out to their boss.
According to videos circulating online, Full Figure asked the deejay to play her duet with Pallaso. Before the request could be honored, Kusasira jumped in, instructing the deejay to ignore her rival’s demand. The two exchanged heated words as the crowd looked on.
Kusasira later reminded the audience that the goal of the rally was to energize voters behind President Museveni, not to create unnecessary drama.
The incident has reignited their long-standing feud, with each star frequently using their platforms to downplay the other’s achievements while boasting about their own positions close to the presidency.
The public spat has left supporters divided — some amused, others concerned that personal rivalries are overshadowing the ruling party’s campaign message.
