HABARI DAILY I Kampala, Uganda I Pastor Robert Kayanja of has revealed that all preparations for the 3-day Benny Hinn Miracle Crusade have been completed, and they are just waiting for the D-day, which is tomorrow.
He revealed that Miracle Centre Cathedral has injected over sh3.1b into preparations to host renowned televangelist Benny Hinn for a three-day crusade in Rubaga, Kampala.
He said that over 100,000 people are expected to attend the crusades on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Cathedral.
“I have invited over 35,000 pastors and notable figures from all over Uganda. They are ready to come and witness the movement of the Holy Spirit in Kampala city,” he told Reporters at a press conference on Tuesday.
Yesterday afternoon, workers were seen busy constructing the stage at the venue.
Kayanja, who was accompanied by Dr Marie Doorn, the events director of Benny Hinn Ministries, said that preparations were 80% complete. He
“This will be the third time the televangelist is visiting Uganda, bringing healing to people. Entrance will be free. We as the body of Christ are grateful for the freedom of worship and security in the country, which will enable people from all walks of life to attend this crucial crusade,” he said.
He said that God has a reason why Benny Hinn is coming at this particular time,” Kayanja said, pointing to the fact that this is a crucial time for the country, since Uganda will hold next year’s elections in January.
“The man of God is coming at a time Uganda was transiting to another political term. This is quite critical because we need God in this entire process,” he said.
Dr Doorn said she was excited to be in Uganda to attend the crusade. “God loves Uganda. we are here at Pr Kayanja’s invitation and we know something great is going to happen,” she said.
She added that she has no doubt that the Holy Spirit will turn up to tourch and transform people’s lives.
“Am so amazed at the preparations which show that something great was going to happen,” she said.
She passed on an open invitation to everyone, and said that their prayer is that many people from around the world will turn up and experience the movement of the spirit upon their lives.
