
Hajjati Namyako, the head of the Office of The National Chairman displays her support for Pastor Bugembe by booking a table of 8 people
HABARI DAILY I Kampala, Uganda I Former street boy and preacher, Pastor Wilson Bugembe has urged his supporters and fans to join him as he marks 20 years since he began his musical and pastoral journey.
The founder of Worship House Church will be celebrating his two-decade anniversary on the 8th of August at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
During a press conference sponsored by telecommunications giant MTN, Bugembe, accompanied by fellow gospel artists such as Levixone, Coopy Bly, Pastor Herbert Twina, and Pastor Justine Nabbosa, stated that on that special day, they will pray and worship, with angels descending from high above.
The singer of “Kani” urged fellow Pastors like Bugingo, Ssenyonga, Kayanja, Sserwada, and Apostle Grace Lubega, among others, to come out and show their support.
“Am grateful for the several secular musicians, including Eddy Kenzo, B2C, and Spice Diana, who have already reserved tables for the concert,” he said.
He said come the D-day, he will endeavor to worship and glorify God, and that the angels will join in.
“I am asking my fellow pastors for their support. Pastor Bugingo, the Bible teaches us to love our neighbor, and you know I’m your neighbor. Pastor Ssenyonga, Pastor Kayanja, Pastor Sserwadda, whom I hold dear, Apostle Grace Lubega, and others,” please come,” he pleaded.
Said Bugembe: “Many of us are here because of your influence. So please join me in this celebration. I also want to thank the non-gospel artists who have supported me by purchasing tickets, such as Eddy Kenzo, B2C, and Spice Diana,” he noted.
Additionally, the Pastor appealed to his fans who have been with him since the beginning. He noted that both he and his supporters faced challenges when he started, but they are now in a much better place.
“Therefore, it makes sense for them to come out, support, and worship God.”
Over the years, Bugembe has established himself as one of the leading gospel musicians in the country. He has numerous hits that resonate with both gospel and secular audiences.
It appears like filling Serena Hotel with his thousands of fans should certainly not pose a challenge for the singing Pastor.
