HABARI DAILY I Kampala, Uganda I SGA Security has signed a strategic partnership with Isuzu East Africa, which will boost the former’s capacity to transport bulk goods safely, efficiently, and on time in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
According to a recently issued press statement, Isuzu East Africa will supply Isuzu NMR 85H (cab and chassis), which will be customized into Cash-in-Transit (CIT) and Courier vehicles to support SGA’s expanding need for secure and efficient transportation of valuables.
Jules Delahaije, the CEO and Chairman, SGA Security Group, the partnership will go a long way towards improving their operational efficiency, expanding capacity, and enhancing service delivery across the East African region.
“This collaboration is designed to improve SGA’s service efficiency, reduce fleet maintenance costs, and standardise operations using a high-performance vehicle platform,” he said.
He noted that the partnership, which is scheduled to commence on 17th July 2025 is valued at $ 3 million (Shs 10.7 billion) and will be executed in phases, starting in Uganda and Tanzania. The envisaged investments made by SGA Security related to the partnership.
Delahaije further noted that with Isuzu’s strong after-sales support and engineering expertise, SGA Security anticipates better uptime, more efficient route optimisation, and improved customer service across its regional network.
