 
        Pastor Robert Kayanja and President Isaac Hertzog exchange books during the meeting
HABARI DAILY I Kampala, Uganda I Pastor Robert Kayanja, the founder and senior pastor of the Miracle Centre Cathedral, has met President Isaac Hertzog, the President of the State of Israel.
They discussed the strategy of the Israel – African Equation, which is a great partnership.
“The pastor shared with the President his book, “Re-addressing the Imbalance, on top of discussing with him his vision for the African continent,” reads part of the statement issued yesterday.
It says that the meeting took place in Jerusalem on October 29th, 2025.
Pastor Kayanja was part of a delegation of about 30 senior Christian religious leaders from 10 African countries, who arrived in Israel this week for a four-day visit initiated by Deputy Foreign Minister Sharren Haskel.
“The high level delegation represented millions of worshipers. Miracle Centre Cathedral leaders were among Delegation,” further reads the statement.
It further said that the delegation was composed of leaders from more than ten African nations — among them Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Ghana, Zambia, and Angola.
“These represented millions of believers who continue to lift the banner of Jesus Christ across the continent.”
President Herzog was elected in the 2021 Israeli presidential election and was inaugurated on 7 July 2021. He is the first son of an Israeli president to become president himself.
He is a public official who has been working in the service of the State of Israel and its society for over twenty years. He was born in 1960 to Aura and Chaim Herzog, later Israel’s Sixth President.
