The late Ebonies Actor Bison Katantazi
HABARI DAILY I Kampala, Uganda I The hand of death has struck again. An eye witness account has revealed that the Ebonies Actor Bison Katantazi, commonly known as Captain Ricky has breathed his last after being shot ten times at close range.
Although the motive of the shooting is yet to be known, our source disclosed that the unfortunate incident happened in Hoima City yesterday.
“He had travelled to Hoima one day ago to spend the Christmas holidays. Someone called us on his mobile phone saying that the owner of the gadget has been shot ten times and is already dead,” said a close relative.
Although his brother, Abby confirmed to the media that they received pictures of his corpse last night, he didn’t divulge details of the shooting.

The circumstances surrounding his shooting are yet to be revealed by the authorities either.
ACP Kituuma Rusoke, the press and public relations officer of the Uganda Police Force could not be reached for a comment since several calls to his known number went unanswered.
The burial arrangements of the popular actor have not yet been disclosed of where about of the body.
Katantazi joined the Ebonies, Uganda’s best known drama group and East Africa’s leading drama and Television group ten years ago· The group was established in 1977.
Housed at Theatre LaBonita in Kampala, the Ebonies has presented more stage performances nationwide than any other drama group in Uganda’s history.
