HABARI DAILY I Kampala, Uganda I The delegation accompanying the body of King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV’s , together with selected members of the Royal Family, later Friday boarded a helicopter bound for Kyegegwa District.
This followed the solemn ceremony during which President Yoweri Museveni received the body of His Majesty the King at Entebbe International Airport today.
King Oyo’s body has since been received by mourners and members of the Tooro Kingdom in Kyegegwa, as preparations continue for his official burial scheduled for September 12th. This is a date that would have marked the 31st anniversary of his coronation.
